There's a red wire with black taper coming out of the CDI unit leading through the loom going into the crank case following the green neutral switch wire. Cut the red with black taper wire and seal the ends of the cut (stop it from shorting out). Then that will put a smile on your face. It's to do with the emissions and takes out the flat spot at 4k revs.
