Our 2008 Chevrolet Impala with the 3.9 Liter LT Option comes with many extras not seen on other Impala models including the Flex-fuel 3.9-liter V6 engine w/cylinder deactivation which produces an impressive 233 HP, Traction control, Antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, Antiskid system, Leather-wrapped steering wheel w/radio controls, Folding rear seat, Illuminated visor mirrors, Fog lights, Sporty Rear spoiler, stylish 17" Factory Alloy Wheels and sporty profile 225/55/R17 Tires. The tires on ours are nearly new Goodyear Eagles. A responsive four-speed automatic transmission is included here too. The 3.9 V6 is fitted with Active Fuel Management technology, which deactivates half the cylinders while cruising to save fuel. The V6 engines offer an agreeable blend of power and fuel-efficiency (up to 28 mpg on the freeway based on new 2008 EPA testing).
