@MrShazzar I'd put Chet in my personal top 5. The man redefined country guitar by using jazz runs to create an entirely new sound.

Roy Clark is in my top ten.

Guitar gods come from all genres. Country, Jazz and Classical put out some of the best but Rock has a few.
