@tahnidopicizide I read that the plane they were suppose to fly on that night, "Flight 1788", was switched for some reason and they had them go on "Flight 1808" instead; also, I read that the Hz on that plane was incorrect and that the pilots apparently thought they were up higher than they really were when they tried to land; also, what made one of the engines go out?

They always need some sort of a "bogie man" ..... be it Osama Bin Ladin or Weapons of mass destruction in Iraq (yet to be found)...Iran is probably next.....A big military like thew US "needs" an enemy to justify their existence and spending.....The CIA has a history of "accidenting" uncomfortable people via "mysterious" plane crashes especially in Latin America in th 80's.....

США могли бояться СССР в послевоенные годы, 50-е и максимум 60-е..В 80-е СССР был уже близок к развалу и в США понимали это. А историю с этой девочкой решили превратить в шоу, американцы любят и умеют делать шоу. В итоге все получилось очень красиво, а затем почему то решили убрать эту девочку. Очень жаль ее...R.I.P.

Something tells me this plane crash was no accident....The US government was trying to potray the Soviet Union as an "Evil Empire" and Samantha's message of peace was directly contradicting their propaganda, as the US desperatelly needed a "boogie man" to justify their military spendings.....
