Well that was really interesting ! Considering that was nearly 4 years ago, i'd like to see what your capable of now :)

Great to see other people love Aronofsky's work as well. Was very impressed.

Awesome

Looked fantastic. Fast forward scenes were great, love the moving mid close shot where you held the tripod in your hand. I'm gonna try doing that. Badass movie.

Pretty good. but.
your fast forward scenes.. at least the first one dont have enough going on... like him just sitting at a desk? the other ones were good. I liked the cigarette.
Then the drug montages with the noise. He would never interrupt the song. It either dies out before the montage or starts after.
The POV was done well. Did you just carry the tripod? or actually make a harness?
And the lighting needed a bit of adjustment.
But overall good job.

It seemed more like a tribute to just Requiem, which is fine, it's a fine film of his, the black and white was probably a nod to pie. I didn't see any of the fountain in there though.
the thing about aronofsky, in my opinion, is that all of his movies are so different, and I don't think he has one style. He's the best living director because he brings something new, and heavy to every film of his.
Anyways it was a great tribute, but I think you focused too much on Requiem.

i held a tripod in my hand, i found a good angle to keep it from being in shot.
it was a bit heavy, but it worked
