This is the much awaited response that brothers and sisters have been waiting for and requesting. The reason being, because many debates spark from the definition of bid'ah whether it be with our salafi brothers who seem to think that lines in mosque, dhikr beads, dua after salah e.t.c are bid'ah.

PLEASE NOTE THIS IS A BREIF REPLY, inshallah we will try to get a full lecture on this topic.

I took this oppurtunity to get a clarrification this topic by Shaykh ul hadith Abdur Raheem Abu Nauman of Darul Uloom Bury. It was an honour to meet him, and he clarrfies the issue.

  • Brother, you are doing a very great job! Is it okay if I make a back up of all your videos?

  • @hytata That would be fine, in fact i would prefer it if you would.

  • The problem with the dua after salah thing is people keep on doing in every time and people thinkg its part of salah. I've prayed with a brother once and there was no dua after salah and he was really confused and asking why. Also I've heard stories about ertain countries where its tradition to shake Imam's hand after salah and when people don't do it they seem to feel like they're salah is not complete. Shaytaan plays tricks and a small deviation becoems larger over time.

  • I find it hard to understand; in 22 years of being a hanafi, I was never told it's permissible to celebrate mawlid? and I still have never been told that until watching this video *scratches head*

  • MASHA ALLAH AKHI

  • lol this is a HOT topic ha mashALLAh its good to have a video about it.

  • Subhanallah, great adab by the questioner and the answerer!

So Mawlid is fine! Just don't do things that have been prohibited as the sheikh mentioned!

  • Maashaa-Allaah, I hope people take his advice...
