Hello my name is Brian James. I live in Indianapolis and have provided sanctuary for animals in the neighborhood I grew up in for over 18 years. I had been living with and assisting my mother in a home in the historic Woodruff Place area in Indianapolis and taking care of the animals in this neighborhood. The house will soon be up for auction and I'm seriously worried about the many animals, including over 25 feral cats, raccoons, and opossums that have been cared for by me for nearly the past two decades. I have had to remove many of their shelters and have been asked to stop feeding the animals. I don't want to see anything happen to them after I have put in so much effort to see that they are cared for so dearly. I have always provided them with food, water, shelter, and lots of love. Even the cats have been spayed/neutered and have received rabies vaccinations a lot of this has been made possible due to the profound assistance from IndyFeral, Inc. (http://www.indyferal.org). Whenever possible I also find homes for these innocent animals. Even a lady from Dallas traveled all the way to Indianapolis to take two siamese-mix kittens back to her home in Texas. Please help me save these animals and help assist me in purchasing/renting this home. I would be forever grateful and would work as many jobs as possible to repay the debt. I am in such turmoil over this whole situation and don't know where else to turn. Please take the time to view my video and video slideshow to take a look at some of the animals I care for. Please contact me if you have the heart to help. I can be contacted by e-mail (bjames001@indy.rr.com) or on my cell (317-435-7524).
