i like the ranger and the lightning, but this isn't much to brag about. the ranger has a 5.0 in it, and it's like half the size of the lightning. it is pretty sweet that you could fit the 5.0 in the thing, but when you think about it, the engine size to weight ratio is about the same as a motorcycle, a performance motorcycle, so of course you're gonna beat anything. great job on the truck though.

its not a 5.0 and u can check out where svt put a lightning drive train in a ranger and it was only a second faster than the lightning due to traction issues

I am no genius but I would be willing to guess that he possibly put a 342 on a Explorer drivetrain and but his Ranger on top of it. But I may be wrong.

Its not a hybrid, it doesn't use the battery for anything but spark which takes like a static charge to make.
