I'm not sure if it was a competition-legal lift. I think I was in control of the bar, thought that I got a good lockout but question that now, and that I didnt ride my shins or thighs. Regardless, Im just glad I could get it up (no double entendre intended) and that I didnt have a heart attack doing it. Critiques welcome, just be constructive and dont burst my bubble. Im going to do deficit DLs for a while to work on breaking off of the floor.
ETA: After viewing the video, I can see where my hips come up way too early and that I'm pulling with my back rather than with quads and hammies. My weight is too much over the toes. It's amazing I haven't injured myself!
This is the first time I've taken a video of myself in the gym, and I have to say, it's not pretty. Instructive and therefore beneficial, but not fun to watch! ::sigh:: Well, live, lift, video, and learn.
I agree with the ironeagle, you made that look too easy

Matt!!! That looked great! You left about 20 lbs in the rack. Come back in a couple of weeks and pull 475 for me!!!
