It disgusts me my kids have to walk home through this shit - witnessing grown ass men/women yelling and screaming fucking pigs at those local cops for having the unfortunate timing to be on a dayshift. Is this the image you all wish to portray. - screaming 20 somethings just taking advantage of strength in numbers to be shitheads to the local PD, who you know (and want) have to make those arrests. Grow some balls and do your sit in where it matters - a STATEHOUSE. But be PEACEFUL.

When you live under tyranny for too long, this starts to happen. I don't like that it's come to this either, but the system has proven itself nearly impotent in restoring freedom. I too am a fan of decorum and order, but I cannot blame these people for being this angry. The only aggression taking place downtown is the kidnapping of people by police.

At least if you break down near the square in the afternoon you can get your car pushed :)

I think my point is...the cops arrive, everyone knows they are going to - every step they take people are baiting them, ridiculing them, being smart asses, and then...when they are forced to do something - a screaming mob, which it seems to me is exactly what everyone 'really' wants. Its misplaced anger - those cops put their pants on the same way you or I do - its a job - its like yelling at a plumber for fixing a pipe. "The system" - is not individual humans called cops - its the state house.

Are you aware that the police didn't even show their face at Monday's rally, which still drew at least 80 people? They also didn't arrest anyone on Thursday or Friday. Clearly they are not "forced" to do anything.

It may be their job, but plumbers are not following immoral orders in their job. Does the excuse "just following orders" work for you?

Those protesters really had no tact. 2:00. Yelling "faggot," or making cheesy remarks about donuts, does not help the cause... All the public sees is a bunch of dirty, long-haired kids who want to get fucked up and make a scene in the middle of town.

Thing is, that same cop who is out there now cuffing this idiot kid might respond to that call of one of them being raped, and would put his life on the line to prevent the crime, because that's his job. A thankless one in Keene.
