yeah, but as for stp, they are no longer a band, and the lead singer of alice in chains is dead, and of course kurt cobain is dead. soundgarden is no longer a band...so yeah pearl jam seems to have been the only band to survive and stay true to their roots...

STP got back together. They are coming out with a new pretty soon. And I gotta hand it to the new singer for Alice in Chains. He's doing a damn good job. But not as good as Layne Stanly of course.

Yes, but alice in chains is back in the business, and many people really like their new album. Soundgarden is already considering get back together, even though nothing is set in stone.
