Hutson never mentions the story of Simon the Sorcerer (Acts 8:9-24) who "believed" and was confronted by Peter that "his heart was not right in the sight of God". So the bible clearly refutes what this preacher is teaching here and indeed there is such a thing as false conversions.

If a person does not turn from sin he never was saved. Hope Hutson was not one of the evangelists that travel making false converts. Jesus said, count the cost. It was not a sellout of the righteousness of God. But a shedding of blood and power to make perfect the saints.

Yes, God is awesome, and yes, preferably A Christian will change for the better, but sometime people don't respond positively to chastisement. It's like when you chasten a child. sometimes the kid will respond in a good way or sometimes they will rebel more. I believe the Bible teaches Christians who continue to live that way will be taken home early.

None of the authors of the books contained in the Bible were divine. This means the Bible is not the Word of God, those men were inspired of the Holy Spirit, but they were still human, Inspired to write due to an experience with God. Knowledge is not more important than experience. For about 1300 years there was no New Testament, but today it is worshiped as if it were God. I am inspired by the Holy Spirit but that does not make my words the Word of God. Can you help?

I Timothy 3:16 explains that all scripture is given by inspiration of God. You are not inspired. You are indwelt by the Holy Spirit if you are saved, but Scripture is done.
