Pan was a Danish rock group (1969-1970) founded by the late Robert Lelievre and Arne Würgler. They were featured several times in the Swedish movie "Deadline", including here while rehearsing an alternative version of "We must do something before the end of the day". From left to right: Robert, Thomas Puggaard-Müller, unknown, Michael Puggaard-Müller, Arne, & Henning Verner. For more information on Pan, check the website http://www.panrobertlelievre.com.

In Dag Erik Asbjørnsen's book he wrote of the group: "Their collective past gave no indication of the sophisticated sound of Pan. The band's eponymous album is one of those tightly arranged and strictly produced efforts, polished to make Lelievre's songs shine. Most of the tracks blend various styles of rock, folk, jazz and small drops of classical and gospel into a strong and potent brew - it strikes me each time I hear it just how homogeneous and forceful it is". • Thanks for rescue from oblivion this group.

Do you have more videos of Pan?

    Greetings from Argentina

  • Gracias amigo Argentino; Fijate en mi otro video "Danish Psych etc" donde sale unos 30 segundos con el grupo Pan. El resto del programa aun sigue en la Radio Danes, esperando que llege el momento cuando salga en DVD...

  • Robert - someone should do a great dig on him! He is supposed to have done some recordings in England for the Marmelade label that was never released where Brian Auger and John Mc Laughlin was involved..

  • Please check the link up to the right. There is one song (the only one released) from that album available for download.

  • Hi Emil,

Anne is indeed in conact with my self and Claus Rasmussen with regards to the proposed reissuing plans for Robert Lelievre's solo work.

Various CD reissuing labels have been contacted with positive replies, though there is the problem of tracking down Robert's 1969 London recordings/album for Polydor/Marmalade, which would be a deal-maker if we were to come across it.
