"This Nearly Was Mine" is from the 1949 Broadway musical, South Pacific, composed by Richard Rodgers with lyrics by Oscar Hammerstein II. This version by Eddie Fisher was recorded live on October 2, 1962 at the Winter Garden Theatre in New York City and was included in the album, Eddie Fisher at the Winter Garden released on the Ramrod label in 1963 and available on CD on Taragon since 1999.

  • I love this song by Eddie. It's on his Winter Garden album. I love all of the songs on it, but the last song The Sweetest Sounds was my very favorite. Maybe you could put that one on, if you have the CD Eddie Fisher at the Winter Garden. Thanks for putting this song on for all of Eddie's fans to enjoy.
