@oakking1 I know it's easy to lose patience or get frustrated, but Christ calls us to love others always ("Pray for those who persecute you...") From personal experience, I know that anger and impatience only bring bitterness. Prayer, on the other hand, has a positive effect. Maybe say a short prayer every time you hear someone bashing the Church or every time that someone makes you angry?

@tonygem Please also pay attention to the negative impact on the world from other things; materialism and selfishness ultimately cause more problems. Those people who do evil in the name of the God are not following the teachings of the Church. That is not to say there are not problems, but there is a great deal of good done by Catholics as well.

I absolutely agree with the priest who says: "Priests are not there to dictate or rule but to Serve." Ironically, the opposite is true for the Vatican.
