Does this religious community recognize the authority of the Pope and the Vatican ? I've heard they do not.

@xanh01 Yes, this community does recognize the authority of the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI and the Vatican. Not sure where you got this information but for the records the community has always been loyal and in communion with Rome.

Thank you, once again, for your answers to my questions. I am very interested in the SBC, and I wish your community was better known outside of the MA-CT-RI area. In the past, I have heard Father Corapi defend Father Feeney on shows on EWTN, but that's about it. I would like a new generation of Catholics to consider your community, worldwide, and to keep this extremely important debate going. It would help, perhaps, if your Apostolate did some traveling, at least around the U.S.

. . . be ugly or disrespectful towards anyone at the SBC. I understand how ugly some of the politics have gotten over the years, and I think most Americans don't realize that Europeans are far different than they are, and that Euro-politics account for a great number of the problems in the Church over the last 60+ years.

One last question: I am interested in compiling a list of Saints and mystics who have supported EENS in their writings and statements. Can you provide me with such a list?

There is a book by Catholic Treasures called "The Apostolic Digest" which has everything your looking for, a great source of the Popes, Councils, Fathers and Doctors of the Church

The best thing to do is to check the Catholic Directory of the Archdiocese of Boston and see if this group is listed as a official groups recognized by the Church. All groups affiliated with the Roman Catholic Church (and their activities) are listed.

@loudmouthspeaker They offer themselves as slaves because they wish to give their all to God, so that they can give as much glory to God as possible. A human's actions on their own are small and insignificant. If you present them directly to Jesus, its like giving a rotten apple to a king. But, by going through His mother, his queen, the one He loves most tenderly, it is as if you are giving that same apple to the king's queen, and she takes it, puts it on a gold platter....

@loudmouthspeaker In this life, you either are a slave to the Devil, or to God. It is your choice to whom you are enslaved. The brothers and sisters at SBC Slaves of Jesus, but they are Slaves of Jesus through Mary. Our Lord chose to come to us through Mary, since she was the most perfect way, His most perfect creature. Mary keeps nothing for herself, but gives all to her Divine Son, Jesus Christ. The slaves offer themselves to Mary, and since Mary gives all to her Son, through her, to him.
