@whatanightmare1 Jon allowed the abuse to go on for as long as it did because Jon is the type of person who tries to be a good example for Kate and tries to reason with her. Kate is the type of person who only responds to yelling and/or hitting. Jon went to counseling, hoping to be a good example for Kate to go; but she didn't. Nobody was yelling at her, hitting her, or forcing her to go, so she simply didn't go.

I like him better after watching this, because if you watch one of the Kate plus 8 episodes it highlights how a majority of the people she stays with for a long time end up hating her to bits. One of the kid's babysitters were crying because they loved her kids so much, but ''wouldn't stand to be with her for another minute.'', and I quote. She also took Jon's ring, how devilish! It didn't even belong to her!

I know kate was very demanding but that's who she was and I think she should have tried to change because a guy can't take all that but I can see both sides seriously.....he's just seeking for affection kate never gave him and didn't realized he being a man needed

Wow...I almost feel sorry for him. But, how did he allow the "abuse" to go on as long as it did? I call it extreme henpecking, and there was some emotional abuse by Kate that you could see on the show, she was always cutting him down, and talking over him. Kate has major issues, and if she does not get help, and change, she is going to be alone the rest of her life. One day, her kids won't even want her around. It's just sad!
