Conor/ Bright Eyes has been such a big part of my life. I haven't had an easy one, and every time he released an album, it was like we were on the same path the whole way. He saved my life, after my brother died when we were just teens. I almost gave up. To this day, all I want to do is thank him.

Do you understand rape culture? It is when society is to blame for incidents of rape. Of course I am a product of rape culture because I am a part of it, I live in it every day as do you and you are also a product of rape culture. I don't create rape culture or influence it at all, I didn't say a word about how society is making rapes occur I said that people who pull the humanitarian card get more attention because everybody loves the ill informed "good guy" over the realistic "bad guy".

This album is unbelievably in sync with my current worldview. The wisdom and elegance conveyed through every line just floors me. When I'm in the right state of mind I can feel the energy of the sound, I can see the line of separation between external and internal as imaginary, and I and I just am. It's true what we're made of.
