Testing the new Kiddie Smoke and Carbon Monoxide Detectors

This is a general test of the our newly installed Kiddie KN-COSM-IB Combination Smoke (Ionization) and Carbon Monoxide Detectors (Electromechanical). They have a voice annunciator integrated with it (which is not very loud and kind of unintelligible) but is also accompanied with an 85 dB Piezo horn.
I also demonstrate the hush mode capibilities of the alarm. If a false alarm occurs you can silence the horn by pressing the test/hush button on the alarm. It can be over-ridded if the alarm continues to detect dangerous conditions (too much smoke or carbon monoxide in its environment).

Yes, these are called "innerconnected". These smoke detectors are wired to each other through the home's electricity so that when one goes off they all go off simultaneously.

@Annieskb It depends on the alarm. Test it, if it's working, then steady is good, if not, then you know. what to do.
