@271250cl This is because the subdeacon in this video is a Franciscan Friar of the Immaculate. Usually like the other clerics, after leaving mass, they cover their head with the biretta. In this case it is the hooded amice.

Lovely. Why does the deacon (sub-deacon?) put his amice over his head at this point? I've never seen this done before.
