@MrZkr123 No, They serve the South Eastern HS1 line between Kings X S.P. to Faversham, and to Ashford International. They stop at Ebbsfleet International. So it is a vital connection service FOR the Eurostar but does not itself go to France. Also please understand, folks, that this is NOT a commuter service. It was never designed to be and does not operate as such. Neither does legislation label it a 'Commuter' train. :)
These trains will be awesome. It would be great if Pendo pantographs could reach EU height, then they could run at their full speed on High Speed 1 too! (it's not called the CTRL anymore btw)

I'd say the pantograph was their least worry...
Need to be fully TVM430 & KVB fitted to run on HS1. thats what makes the 395 state of art as its dual voltage & dual signalling capabilities.

2 units = 12 coaches
maximum most current Southeastern platforms can accomodate.So no difference than whats currently available.
