Hosts Chambers and Duff travel to the island of Okinawa, Japan, the birthplace of one of the most deadly hand-to-hand combat arts in the world, Karate. Our hosts will journey across this legendary island, learning all aspects of the fighting art Okinawans created to help battle invading Samurai warriors over 400 years ago.
After practicing the shocking techniques of Iron Body Training in a 600-year-old castle, mastering heart-stopping vital point strikes in an ancient temple and putting themselves through the rigorous training regiments of ancient Karate masters, one of the hosts will step onto the mat to face a black belt, and Okinawan Champion, in a true Karate battle.

In the ultimate search for a HUMAN WEAPON, mixed martial artist Jason Chambers and football pro Bill Duff put their bodies on the line as they train in the most lethal forms of combat before going toe-to-toe with masters of each fighting style.

MuayThai is not more deadly than Okinawan Karate. MuayThai is a sport, MuayThai is amazing, I love it, I did it for MMA for about a year and a half. But I am now done with MMA and training to become a Shaolin Kempo teacher. Kempo is Karate Kung fu and Jujitsu mixed together. Karate has things like groin punches and kicks, neck chops, moves where you grab and rip at the person's throat, eye gouges, kicks to knee joints. MuayThai is a sport, Okinawan Karate is for not being killed.

For all the people who argue over which style is best, Why not just learn every style? Do muay thai and karate, judo and jiujuitsu, kung fu and western wrestling? Be a student of all styles. The surest mark of a fool is to disregard something that falls outside of his realm of knowledge as useless.

@tman229 i never said karate isn't deadly. i'm saying how i thought muay thai is more brutal. yes it may be true that muay thai is a sport version of Muay Boran but that' doesn't change the fact that its probably one of the most brutal martial arts. many pros in Thailand end up severely injured after a match. especially when they're losing..

@krazygenesis96 Brutal =/= deadly. Traditional self defense karate is deadly. Muay Thai is merely the sport version of Muay Boran styles which was the real deadly version of Thai styles.
