While not a true video response to content of Potholers video "Darwin said this..Darwin said that..." it does address something he said as he mocked the Biblical prophets. It has been a video I've wanted to record for a while and so this was a good opportunity to do so.
While I don't quote just the prophets, I do quote some of the oldest writings of the Bible. It would have been impossible for them to have any knowledge of some of the things they have mentioned with such confidence.
Once again, you decide Atheists, if this "conspiracy" book is true or not.

  • WHY DO YOU KEEP CALLING US ATHEISTS? You are a really judgmental,How do you know I am not a christian?

So can I buy one of your children? Would you like to buy my daughter? Also my wife came between me and another man when we were arguing. Should I get the neighbors to stone her?

My brother works on the sabbath should the neighbors stone him too?

So which abomination is worse gay people or eating shell fish?

  • The bible was written by primitive authors of fiction who wrote nothing of significance regarding history or facts. The only sin we must separate ourselves from is this sin of mythology you call Christianity.

  • @emptywithoutjesus: You're "intelligent" because you believe in Bronze-Age fairy tales written by a group of ignorant, desert-dwelling goat herders? I bet you believe in the Noah's Ark story too, don't you?

"I see now who I'm speaking with."

You may see, but you certainly don't understand. You go right on believing in your magical, invisible, telepathic sky-daddy. I'll put my money on rationality and science.

emptywithoutjesus = empty even with jesus

  • @emptywithoutjesus ..Not to mention an argument from ignorance or an argument from incredulity are logical fallacies.

Of course the big difference is, there is a shockingly large body of evidence for evolution by natural selection, spanning multiple, unrelated fields of science that all agree. You have an old book of incorrect history and contradictory myths.

    Which to choose....???

  • @emptywithoutjesus Uh..Yeeeah. That's exactly how it happened. And "it" didn't "struggle" - small minute changes based on minor mutations and genetic drift in response to the changing environment. Traits which gave advantage or neutral were passed on, traits which were not eventually got selected out. Intelligence and language gave our species an advantage and were selected for. It was a slow process. They human brain did not pop into existence fully formed.

    Ex nihilo creation doesn't happen

  • @johnycannuk Cool. Our brains "just evolved" huh? Wow. Incredible. Uh, I mean, oh yea, of course...I mean that's totally natural. an incredible complex piece of matter highly functioning interdependent on other functioning systems, "just evolved". oh yea, of course So easy to believe. and it struggled to becaome what it was through "survival".

  • @emptywithoutjesus ...as our brains evolved. It, like other processes and changes, occurred slowly in response to the environment our ancestor found themselves in.

Like the earth, which formed over millions of years from the dusty disk that surrounded the early sun...

Pesky questions, yes, and all that have answers with lots of evidence to back them up.

Unlike the existence of a god.

You might want to find out what evolution is before you pontificate. It only reveals your ignorance.

  • @emptywithoutjesus I suggest you look up the work of Steven Pinker or read "Mind of the Market" by Michael Shermer. Apes and lesser primates all display social behaviors that are considered "morals". In short, we evovled to have morality and ethics because it was the better survival mechanism.

Big gap between ape and man (we are apes BTW)? Our species evolved differently from a common ancestor. There are literally hundreds of "in between guys", including Lucy.

    Language evolved....

  • No, you my friend ARE a guerrilla! Attacking the truth. By the way, what percentage do we get our non material characteristics from these beasts??? You know, morality, creativity, emotions, thought process, ingenuity, art, music, drive, determination, will, love, kindness, affection...??? why the big gap between Ape and man??? where's the "in between guy"? You know, with out all the hair. How did they develop language? Did it just "happen" one day. Like the earth appearing? pesky questions.

  • @emptywithoutjesus That's it, don't discuss the points I made, attack me.

You are entitled to your own opinions, but not your own facts.

Xoroaster pretty much debunks all of this Book of Daniel prophesy nonsense. There are others if you care to look.
