The thing is, an underpass for vehicles would cause access issues for streets, houses, and businesses in the area. West Chicago really is getting the raw end of the deal here, but there's always the Wilson Ave bridge.

Will all of the rail routes that goes through will ever be double track in the future? Will the CN ex EJE route ever going to be double track as well in the future?

Are these WPSX coal cars???

This coal train goes to Green Bay Wisconsin Power Service. UP used to run this train but now BNSF does.

Wow thats certantly an interesting move. I did see a coal train sitting in Eola once with the same set of coal cars. It was waiting to get onto the EJE nothbound, but it had 3 CN engines on it.

UP is more busyer so if they blew there horns too that would be to much train noise for the town to handle, idk just my guess

I don't get why trains on the EJ&E blow the horns while the UP is quiet?

Haha. True, true.
I live in West Chicago,IL West of the Now Canadian National Tracks and I highly recommend an Underpass to be built on Washington St. for Vechile,Bicylcle and Pedestrian Traffic to go under to bypass rail traffic is really going to soar now that the CN/EJ&E merger is now complete.
Also I highly recommend an Underpass on Ann St. and an Overpass on Forest St. and an Pedestrian Underpass on George St. all in West Chicago in order to bypass Canadian National Freight Traffic.

I know how you feel. The traffic does suck through there. I remember seeing a Union Pacific freight stopped in the crossing for about 45 minutes. Held up an ambulance and some fire trucks too. I can only imagine how bad it will be with CN running about 40 trains a day through there.
An underpass would work, but major reworking of the railroad right of way, roads, and surrounding structures would be extremely expensive if not impossible.

This is surprisingly not that uncommmon. Though I have never seen it in person, the BNSF is starting to use the western sub for coal trains. Happens maybe every day, if not atleast every week.

That may be true, but I'll say I wasn't expecting a BNSF train to come out from behind the trees. And to think I came to the Geneva Subdivision that day to see something other than BNSF...
