How to flash a BenQ drive with ixtreme 1.6 using Jungle Flasher 1.66

What up YouTube this is another one of my basic tuts to help new modders through some of the basic steps. I like to talk a little shit in all of my videos to ease some of the pressure. I hope you guys enjoy this one and the new Liteon 83850 flash tut is coming shortly.

hi so i have flashed a few benQ's before but this one not working.. when i put in a burnt game in my good xbox 360 it works fine. but on this one i been trying to flash it loads and shows me a picture in the display menu, but when i hit play game, (it does say play game) ... it just goes black screen..... i tried lots of games and and lots of firmwares.,... and normal store bought games load and play fine.. any idea's??

@TravisNRG Based on my experience this is an indication that your drive is bad (even if it will still play normal xbox games key word "normal" games). I recommend buying a New Drive First or you can try changing the laser. The drive is easier to change and much faster, not to expensive either.

@TravisNRG Thanks for posting your solution, sometimes the easiest solution is the best solution! This is a good example of problem solving everyone will experience different problems and if you don't have the type of mind that will try and trouble shoot these problems then modding inst for you. I cant get my BenQ to be reconised.... Each time it says there nothing connected to the sata port :( Please help!

Hello, I have a couple questions for you : 1st, did you do anything before this to you motherboard or any chipset ? and 2nd, will this work on any version of the Xbox's firmware/kernel etc ? thank you

@jord534 1.Yeah i added a Pci Via card. All Kernels most drives but some of the newer lite on drives are a little more difficult to mod and require some soldering.

@mwest23 nope i figured it out!!... this new thing call AP2.5 ...thats what messed me up, the 2 games i was testing with were halo reach and black ops, and when i burnt those games months ago there was no ap2.5 crap and i have not had to update my system menu or dashboard, so everything has been fine. except with the new benq with was all updated had blocked games with ap2.5, so i had to reburn those games with abgx1.0.5 and its all good... lol..i cant believe i flashed it so many times lol.
