@johnrolandyeiseriii Wow- you just put into words why I usually laugh at Muzak-style covers of pop songs. "Robotic" is usually the word for it!

Not bad, considering they're kids. IMHO, though, when doing a song, one should attempt to maintain some of the original. Piano, bass, etc. Substituting one instrument for another really takes away from the impact.

SICK!! we play this song in our jazz band too we gotta bigger band accually we got two bands consisting of two tenor, two altos, two barris, a couple trombones, a couple of piano players, a few drummers and a league of trumpets lol
yeahh and deff put a groove on it its wayy to bland but rele good :)

good attempt but may i suggest funking it up a lot more. its sounds to up tight. get some messy tones and just jam out!



Nice, but lacks feeling, too robotic. In jazz and soul you must truly "feel" what you play. Its not enough to play right notes and rhythms.
