I see this happening time after time. Faced with logic, facts and shown how unrealistic are the claims of the bible, the church and creationists, there is always a retreat into silence or abuse.

Religion is a hangover from times when people knew nothing about the world, we don't need it now, we know better, have more knowledge, better morals, better laws, equality for the sexes (or trying??). Our laws and morality are better than those of the cruel, murderous, mysoginistic, unfair bible.

Seriously, just because I have a life to live and don't have time to jump online every day or twice a day or whatever to continue in this comment war with you does not mean that you are in any way right. When I have time, I'll answer you. I'm not being abusive or retreating into silence. I have 2 jobs, go to school, and this second have a screaming 6 month old in my lap. When I don't have a life I'll take more time to answer you and maybe watch your videos, until then...

I need a few days to look up all of these scriptures before I can answer you. But I know the story in Genesis 19:5-8 and can answer this one now: That is not God hating women. Lot was a bad man and the Bible doesn't condone his actions. Aside from giving God's Word, the Bible gives us a historical account of the people in it. God never gave commandment or said it was ok to give your daughters to be molested. And in any case, Lot was stupid but didnt neccessarily hate his daughters.

By these words you condemn the greater part of the world's population to hell. What of people say, in a tribe in the amazon who have never heard of christ, do they go to hell?

I don't condemn the world to hell, people do that for themselves. I only paraphrased what the Bible said in numerous places.

And yes, that tribe in the Amazon goes to hell. I need to look it up and find it for you, but the Bible says every living being on earth knows there is a God. And also, this is why God gives us His comandment to spread the Gospel to every person on earth. This is why there are missionaries out with these tribes in the middle of the amazon, teaching them about God.

If Captain Cook had arrived in Australia, contacted the local people, and found they had a copy of the bible, inspired by god, written in their own language; and similarily in China, India and America, that would show that god wanted everyone to believe in Jesus, but they didn't. They had their own stories, invented their own gods, had their own view of the world. Nothing about 6 days of creation, no instruction about keeping the sabbeth, no 10 commandments, no knowledge of origonal sin.

I cannot believe you accept that everyone who does not believe what you believe must go to hell.

The sheer, illogic, injustice and immorality of condemning someone from a remote part of the world, 1000 years ago, who had never heard anything about christianity is in any way correct is just breathtaking.

Would you send someone to hell, if it was your choice, because they did not believe in a god they had never even heard of?

No, it's not god hating women, it is an indication of the attitude to women prevelent at that time, where it would be deemed better for a daughter to be raped than a male visitor. Surely the solution would have been to say, "I think you angels had better use your supernatural powers to get out of here". Surely Lot was a GOOD man, in god's eyes, which was why his family was the only one to escape the destruction.
