This stationary steam engine was built by the S. Flory Manufacturing Company in Bangor, PA. It powered the line shafts in the mill of the Stephens-Jackson Slate Company in Pen Argyl, PA. It is now operated under steam at the Blue Mountain Antique Gas & Steam Engine Association in Jacktown (Bangor), PA.
