  • This isn't double crochet.

Correct double crochet instructions are :-

    1. Wrap Yarn over hook

    2. Insert hook into stitch, yarn over hook, draw yarn through stitch ( 3 loops on hook)

    3. Yarn over hook, bring yarn through first 2 loops on the hook ( 2 loops on hook)

    4. Yarn over hook, bring the yarn through the 2 remaining hooks ( 1 loop left on hook)

  • @rosiecp76 You're right, I screwed it up.

  • Um...this is wrong.

That's not a double crochet stitch....

You wrap around, put through hoop, pull loop through.

Then you have 3 loops on hook, grab yarn pull it through first 2 loops, grab yarn pull it through last 2 loops leaving one loop.

  • thanks this was very helpful
