This movie is about a very green 8 year old Quarter horse Mare "Poppy". Poppy came to me a very scared, defensive little horse. This is her journey.....
Today I saddled Poppy(with bareback pad) and got on her for the 2nd time. Basically in this video my aim was to get her used to me and comfortable aboard. I played around with pre-flight checks(on the ground) and some lateral flexion, indirect and direct reins).. and then to establish some forward movement(ridden.) poppy has overcome some major confidence hurdles and is now progressing in leaps and bounds.
