I picked up some very helpful techniques with this video. Thank you very much ;oD Please make a video applying fondant to a larger cake (14" at least).

Hi, can you tell me what you put over the cake before the fondant/icing is put on? Is it another form of icing to make the fondant/icing stick? I'm attempting to make a number 1 shaped birthday cake for my son!

The icing you left on the board - I don't really want that :S how can you get those bit off without ruining the edge of the icing on the cake?

I always wondered how you got the sides so smooth. Awesome!

where can you buy fondant

you made that look so easy, I always have a problem smoothing out the icing down the sides of the cake but now i think I will be able to do it, thank you very much.

do you drape the cake after you mature the paste for 24 hours? or can you use it after you make the paste?

hi
it depends on the paste you are using, we normally always use pre made- (renshaw regal ice), however if you are making your own icing, you may need to leave it overnight to mature before using. We found that cost for cost, it's usually cheaper for us not to make it ourselves (but remember we buy wholesale). Hope this helps!
