Yes you can take it apart and dry it but even after you do that there is a good chance it will still have issues. Most of the time water damage causes multiple issues in a unit.

MY screen is scraches and such on my 2nd grneration, i was it to look better shoudl i try to fill the scratches or put on a new screen? Thanks!

There is no good way to fill it. You will need a new digitizer aka touch panel from DirectFix com

I think you are referring to the LCD which is the image on the screen? If that is correct and the touch panel is not broken look at DirectFix(dot)com Part# IP-2159
