Nicki Minaj Visits Collins Academy

The Get Schooled Foundation asked students to step up the Get MotivatED Challenge by boosting their attendance. About a month ago, we named Collins Academy in Chicago the champions!

As a reward for winning the national attendance challenge, Collins Academy was visited by hip hop superstar Nicki Minaj! Nicki played "Principal for a Day" and helped teach an English class. MTV's Sway Calloway, WGCI radio personality Connie, 103.5 KISS FM personality Special K, DJ Nurotic, AT&T, and Comcast were all there as well to join in the fun! Comcast even went as far as donating three $10,000 scholarships to students who demonstrated leadership throughout the challenge.
