@Lysimachus78 The good news is your salvation comes from Jesus Christ and not the Ten Commandments. Since your cult believes in Jesus Christ as their lord and savior your entire argument is covered by the grace of God. Therefore I don't really care about your argument except to encourage you to abandon man's religion and seek the face of God as Generation Church has done. Glory is God's and God's alone and it demands the best praise you can provide. GC has done just that.

@Lysimachus78 To be honest they are so flawed and so unfounded I won't even bother to argue them with you even on an intellectual level. You must first be intellectually honest with yourself in order for that to be a fruitful venture. I always find it amusing when a cult member trashes a church they have never been to on the basis that it's not moving in spirit. Having been in your cult and currently going to a church like this I can tell you God is moving spiritually far more than your cult.

@Lysimachus78 The problem is I am reading the bible without the lens of religion. I spent the first ten years of my Christian life without religion, no mentors, Just the holly spirit and the bible. I would deal with your solid arguments if they were solid. However they're flawed and lacking the total word of God. They are full of opinion and bias. You promote doctrine and argue it. I promote Jesus Christ and the Holly Spirit. Love God, Love thy Neighbor. All that matters according to Jesus.

From Auburn to Weimar to Sunnyvale I have never seen the spirit of God ever move in a Seventh Day Adventist Church. I have however personally experienced instant healing several times in the so called praise and worship which is sensationalism. You can't define where God is unless your God. God enhabits the praises of his people. So who are you to determine what God likes or dislikes? By your cult standards King David would have been a sinner.

@Lysimachus78 We are Gentiles adopted as Jews. By the time that scripture was written Jesus had already corrected the mistranslation and ignorance of the laws. You can quote what ever you like. I am not going to bother arguing with you. I have studied the entire bible and specifically the purpose of the law which never pertained to the Gentiles. Gentiles did not have the abrahamic covenant. We are under the Convenant of Christ. A very different convenant. So all abrahamic law is not ours.

The problem is, you are reading the scriptures using Dispensational Futurist lenses. I am an Adventist Historicist Premillennialist. I am writing a book entitled "Vindicating the Historicist Hermeneutic". I've been debating some of the most learned Dispensational authors now for several years. A good website I recommend is HearingTheTruth . org. Listen to the audio shows. You really need to deal with our solid arguments if you are going to be honest with yourself brother.

Are we not Jews? You are a Jew, I am a Jew. Isaiah 41:8 tells us that Israel is "the seed of Abraham". Gal 3:29 says that if we are Christ's, then "we are Abraham's seed" and "heirs according to the promise". Gal 4:28 says "as Isaac was", we ARE the "children of promise". Romans 2:27-29 states that those who have been circumcised of the heart are "a Jew, which is one inwardly". Isaiah 56 tells us that the Sabbath was made for the "strangers" (see also Mark 2:27).

@Lysimachus78 Again God over rules man and your interpretation is lacking context. What 's even more funny is that Saturday is only the sabbath in our calendar so your entire life you have broken the laws of your church.

@Lysimachus78 Well that's a nice theory but if you take the entire gospel of Christ you would find a very different conclusion. You can't do this however because your doctrine is full of religion, dogma, and law. I know I was a part of that religion and the bible is very clear in regards to the judgemental, religious, and who their father is. He also said don't argue about doctrine but agree on him. Your far too concerned with your laws to care what Jesus said about this very subject.
