  • The soldier's creed: Out there, somewhere, is a bullet with my name written on it, a word of death looking for my finals piece. Mayhaps one of the balloons had his name written on it, or merhaps it was the storm. My friends, this priesters fate enchanted journey demonstrates one thing central to all of lifelings, that whatever doth the self may desire, one can not escape the grip of fatedestinaty.

  • Dear All,

I have some questions about psychology:

    (1) Why do we love flying?

    (2) Why do we like to fly on a balloon chair?

    (3) What will be the joy to fly on an balloon chair comparing with flying on a commercial jet?

    (4) Why do we want to take risk in the sky?

    (5) By flying on a balloon chair, what did the priest demonstrate the link between the sky and God?

THANK YOU IN ADAVNCE for your creative ideas and brainstorm!!! :)

  • Gee, you think he actually made it to heaven with those thingss?just maybe?

  • @Delticola It is a sort of a joke, like the one guy strapped a military rocket on the back of a chevy to see what he can do with the footage, and well it took him a few 1000 miles an hour and almost wiped out a family in a car, but then he swerved and flew into the mountains, crashing and burning.

I understand this guy in this video inspired the movie "UP".

  • @mrdeleted An award should be given for the survival of the fittest. A Darwin Failure might be a better term. Thanks for the update. Sad to hear the man lost his life over such a stunt. If I was in up in the sky and if weather was clear I'd have used my chute by time I saw the coastline. Oh well.

  • @Delticola He won 2 Darwin Awards, so if you go to the DarwinAwards website you can read about it. The Darwin awards are given to people who die in the craziest way, and he did just that. I was just watching the movie "Darwin Awards" and then typed in the website and it is a real site.

  • @mrdeleted The movie I was talking about was Danny and the Deck Chair and it was made in Australia before this Brazilian Priest tried this stunt in 2008. Where did they find him? Because last I heard they never did find him and if they did was he alive? It's been done in the USA as well. I would never try it however.

  • @Delticola this guy inspired that movie, and the movie UP. Yes they found him.

  • @ethosaur uhh no, he won a "double Darwin Award", the only case of a double Darwin award ever. You can read about it on the DarwinAward website.
