Kayla says goodbye to Salem (-aired 1992)

Kayla goes to Steve's gravesite (which is different then the one in 2006) and then goes back to her parents house and we get flashbacks of her life with Steve as Goodbye My Friend plays. Kayla takes Stephanie and leaves.

I really wish that someone in Salem had known that Steve wasn't buried in that coffin in the grave. So much needless pain and loss for so many years. It makes me sad and angry for them all over again. But I'm glad that they were finally reunited and got the chance to have the life together that Lawrence Alamain and then supposedly Stefano robbed them of for so long. I just wish that when they returned that the writers had explained just how Steve ended up being held by Stefano.
