Well many of us hainanese will witness the demise of hainan dialect.. but what the heck.. some it make me feel awakard when you are of mix heritage. I think it is all right ,, dialect , language are all man make.. and the demise is pre-condition when it was initiated. even single language already create much miscomunication.. how you like every dialect is promoted and the flight attendant have to announce in 5 dialect.. My episode in Taiwan during Ah Pien legacy was horrifying...
