Porsche has released the first details and photos of the 911 (991) Carrera Cabriolet and the Carrera S Cabriolet.
The open top version has the same engines as the Coupe variant. The Carrera Cabriolet's 3.4 liter engine packs 350 PS (257 kW / 345 bhp) while the Carrera S cabriolet gets a little extra from the 3.8 liter engine with 400 PS (294 kW / 394 bhp).
The roof design in the up position perfectly retains the 911 roof line of the Carrera Coupe, complete with a fabric soft top just like its predecessor. Additionally, Porsche has introduced a new lightweight folding roof frame using magnesium.
Both versions are due to hit the showroom floor in March 2012. German market pricing for the standard Carrera Cabriolet will begin at €100,532 while the Carrera S Cabriolet will start at €114,931.

I don't like Porsche. I prefer Audi (R8 V10 coupe/spider and the GT model...As well as the ABT R8 GTS).
