She is also talented, not quite at your level, but I wonder how often she should practice (or not practice too much, if you know what that's like?" What was your first instrument. @MsJollycholly This video is about 4 years old so I was 15 at the time. You want to practice when you get the chance but it is good to take some breaks every now and then. If not, it is easy to get frustrated and takes all of the fun out of playing. I played drums before this but thats it. I learned guitar after I learned the banjo. Banjos are definitely not cheap. If she was like me, the nicer one she gets, the more she is going to want to play.

@sublime006 This video was after 2 years but i chopped the tip of my finger off which caused me not to be able to play for about 9 months of those 2 years. This video is a couple years old. I need to make some updated versions.

Nobody cares what you think! He's trying his hardest to play the song. I thought it was a good version he made myself. I'd like to know if you actually play banjo. Because if you don't, then you have no room to talk that way to this banjo player. Oh, and by the way, "teached" is not a word.
