I can't believe anyone is stupid enough to actually fall asleep while DRIVING. Whoever does that DESERVES to crash!

I've stayed awake 3 days in a row, and I would never fall asleep while driving..

This reminds me of when my dad feel asleep while driving. Luckily he didn't crash because another driver in the next lane honked his horn waking him up. :S

The fact that you have to sleep at all is a good indicator that it's not entirely up to you what you do.

It's not like he was behind the wheel and thought 'Gee, now is a good time to see if I can operate a vehicle by using the Force'. When you need energy, you get hungry, when you're dehydrated you drink... when you're tired, your body will shut down. That's life.

Because my Dad's the only one who can drive in our family, usually, when we're on a long drive, one of us tries to stay awake with him to make sure he's alright. Most of the time, when he's tired, he knows when (and where) to stop.

Doesn't stop these adverts from being bloody terrifying though.

my brother once fell asleep while riding a motorbike n then he fell .good thing there was no crash or anything. n he had no injuries.

@Letcherism I don't know what kind of work you have, but in some cases, it's normal to be tired while driving. but it's not ok if you're dumb enough to continue driving without stopping and just rest.

I think this is a very relevant advert. When it was on a few years ago it certainly had an impact on me and made me rethink my driving habits. Those people who say its imposable to fall asleep while driving are idiots. It can happen to anyone.
