A visual walk-through of a custom pedal board being built for Johnny Roberts of The Johnny Roberts Band. All products used were puchased at Lowe's. This video walk-through is designed to help guide you through the basic approach to building your own pedal board at a conservative price. Got questions? emai me at tonewood62 "at" yahoo.com.

  • This is not a pedalboard. This is masterpiece! Looks way better than those fuckin' expensive shitboards you can buy over the internet. Good work, man. :D

  • @MrDirt86 thanks, that was our thinking also and what started this project

  • On your youtube video you place a hole about 1/2 in diameter on the

left side panel at the very top, but as the video progressed it

disapeared. What was the purpose of this hole? Also, was that black

coat just a simple satin primer. Thanks, Connor.

  • @thattoneguyy originally, that hole was an exit out for the cable to the amp from the last pedal in the chain. we changed our mind and plugged it. paint was a primer filler yes.

  • I built my pedalboard based off this video, and it is awesome. I added slits in the top level for the daisy chain to reach the pedals on top as well, and a hole in the front for the input on my volume pedal. I also built a case for it, (the pedalboard fits in like a second level on a toolbox sort of, with slits in the side for the handles to stick through and save space. Thanks for the vid.

  • @TheTallguitarguy glad i was able to inspire and help out. that was what i was hoping to do. thank you

  • @posiedonpowertrio No.1 rule- put some serious thought into your layout and pedals of choice. Hook everything up with patch cables in the order that you prefer on a large piece of construction paper. Trace out each pedal with a marker and then study on it for a week or so visually taking into account any possible change ups that might occur due to exp. ( some people play in multiple bands and use different equipment) and when you're comfortable with it you now have a size. Hope this helps.

  • @sebastianbb12 industrial strength velcro ( 2 inches wide X 4 feet long rolls ) purchased at Lowes also, applied to the bottom of the pedal only. It sticks great to the carpet I use, also purchased at Lowes. You almost can't pull the pedal off. The narrow compartment, top right ?... Ohh ! That's for when u go through customs lol ! no... it's just so u can chase another power cable to the tuner which sits just nicely on that spot above.
