for what i've seen, on sea towns there are most french people who also speak italian, in the inland and mountains there are ONLY native Corse people who want to speak their language, who is NOT french.
i've been stopped by 4 old men and women in Bastia who had seen i was italian, just to talk with me with THEIR language, which i repeat it's NOT french.
