2/14/2012: Actress Zina Bethune has died at the age of 66 following a hit-and-run accident in Los Angeles California. The screen and stage star died in the early morning after she was struck by a vehicle while trying to help an injured animal. She's been seen in TV dramas including The Guiding Light, The Nurses, Police Story, Planet of the Apes, Route 66, CHiPs, Gunsmoke and the Naked City. She also starred in the movie: "Who’s That Knocking at my Door?"
