@AshleyFan2211 Like GortokTheDestroyer said, it belongs to SM and SNSD after SM purchased the rights to the song from another production company. Nathalie Makoma and C.J. Lewis were licensed by SM to use it and both released their own singles, though Natalie released it with the original lyrics (which happened to be in English). It's the same story with RDR; SM purchased its rights from Ke$ha and her production team.
@AshleyFan2211 Yeah, SM wrote Korean lyrics and released it but the original lyrics were in English. It was just never released in English until Makoma did a cover using the original lyrics. Hoot and RDR were written in English too.
@SEXYHARUKA Continued: And if you like it don’t leave, leave Show me the tricks up your sleeve, sleeve And I’ll show all them girls my needs, need After SNSD’s verse: Easy does it, girl you got it Can you feel my rhythm poppin’ You can light me like a rocket I don’t know if we can stop it Call me your mind professor I will increase your pressure You give me so much pleasure Wish this dream could last forever
@GortokTheDestroyer Oh I already knew that. Lol.

Could you imagine if an English version of Genie ended up on their eventual U.S. Album? Genie being my favorite song, I would absolutely lose it!
