On July 23, 2009, Sundeep & Jasmeen celebrated their Sangeet at the Diamond Palace Restaurant in Diamond Bar. As the groom entered with his family, the brides family warmly welcomed them at the doorway. The evening was filled with traditional Indian food as the aunties filled the room singing traditional folk sangeet songs. Family & friends entertain the guest with performances to popular Bollywood & Bhangra songs, followed by the customary Punjabi ceremony (Jago). Both sides of the family carried a pot affixed with lightened candles (Gagger) on their heads as they danced in circles, clapping their hands (Giddah Dance). After all of the formalities were concluded, the guest danced until midnight to the sounds of Needle Free Pug DJ!
