Lilly the Beagle Howling for Her Dinner

One of my beagles gets really excited at every meal. Twice a day she howls, while the meal is being prepared. She's a rescued dog, who was severely underweight, when she was brought to a small "no kill", in West Virgina. She was neglected, and escaped her traumatic experience.

I think this is her way a being appreciative, for every meal. Because there was a time when eating didn't happen very often, for her

your description made me want to cry man and i dont cry easily i have a 6 year old purebred beagle whos name is Lilly too shes is like my daughter shes such a sweet little girl and i love her so much. It tares me up when i hear about people neglecting and abusing thier dogs. im not an animal rights activist by any means and im actually a deer hunter but i do it as humanely as possible. i dont know if anyone will read this but i just wanted to share it with anyone who might feel like i do
