He's always said he never played for Scotland the way he did at Liverpool - not for lacking of trying, mind. Just that he was in great team that suited his style perfectly. A match made in heaven - Liverpool and King Kenny!
But that's not a bad record - not bad when you consider his best years -according to Fergie and others, were in his later years when he dropped back into the 'hole' - where his creative ability flourished and he became "truly world class"(Alex Ferguson)
