I never saw his show, but he used to bring his dogs into the vet I worked for at the time. He was really nice and a funny guy. He even handed out a bit of art for us on occasion. I was sad to hear of his passing.

This is great. This takes me back to such a happy time in my life. I was just talking about Mr. Mustache to my siblings. I grew up in Dekalb and we used to watch this show and mimic his drawing. Does anyone remember going to Mr. Steak and getting the skeleton sketch of his drawing so we could follow along? Great and simple times.

@PeterBarrettComm Is there any way to view recordings of the show? I know I was on his show once and I am sure my kids would get a kick out of it..

As someone who had the good fortune to direct this show, I can tell you he was a great guy. Sadly, the person who ran his puppets (Roger Radant) has also passed away. A fondly remembered piece of TV history.

Mr Mustach and Roddy Mac were my two favorite local TV Personalities on Rockford TV while growing up in Southern Boone County and Northern DeKalb County.

I'm shocked! His show was a part of my childhood I'll never forget.
Remember don't ask for the letter 'Q' for a drawing? He will be missed.
