How DmC Should End (My Thoughts In Description)

Since coming up with the idea for this video, I've cooled down a bit from my seething rage at what Capcom and Ninja Theory did to Dante, but decided to finish the vid anyway. I think the design is alright but not for Dante.
I think it should be a new character with a similar role to Nero in DMC4. Who knows, maybe he's Dante Jr, Dante and Lady's kid? Or another guy who thinks he's Dante or is coincidentally called Dante.
I hope one of these is right. It also seem stupid to change the character so much when in the last couple of months, the original Dante was announced for Marvel Vs Capcom 3 which just shows how popular that one is. And with Capcom's financial troubles of late, you'd think they do a game that fans would really be into instead of taking the risk of losing much if the fanbase by changing the franchise so much.
But why does DMC need a reboot anyway? The story, gameplay and hero were all still fine, possible even their best so why change it all? Reboots rarely work anyway so why take the risk? Because Capcom are idiots. The Resident Evil and Street Fighter live action movies prove that.
Sorry for going off on one there but I don't have a camera and I still need to sort out my mic. If you actually read all this, I'm amazed you actually care about my opinion. Thanks.

I also want to know is what they'll replace Devil Trigger with since he only gets in in DMC3.

i honestly have no issues with the new dante and for the person who uploaded the video u probably already know this but ill let u know anyway just in case this is a different dante a different dante not the old one in his teens, like dante from another game universe it will not follow nor change the original games stories

@Majeh116 I read that this one's mother is an angel instead of a human so it's probably not the same one. Hopefully, they can go back to the old timeline after this one.

Oh maybe you have a problem with the design, and I don't have anything against that, seriously I'm a designer and in that matter i see no problem if somebody doesn't like the new design, what pisses me off are those people who already say the game is bad just because of the new dante. They are judging the whole game because of how the character looks like.

That's fair. In all honesty, the actual gameplay doesn't look too bad. I think they should release a trailer with some story stuff since that's one of the other things people are worried about.

@The4thSnake true but to be fair of everything the series has done devil may cry has never been renowned for its story telling (since only one game out of 4 had a story i thought was any good but thats my opinion) so even if the story in the new one is bad (though i think it will be good) thats something people are gonna complain about the least (though they will complain still)

So in other words, they are completely ignoring the storyline of the series, calling it outdated and making a brand new one. WHY? Why do something as stupid as redoing game that is successful? Dante's past has already been discovered, we all know mostly what happened, so there is no need for another Origin game for Dante. We already know and this new trash isn't going to fly with us fans.

@The4thSnake i doubt sparda is gonna be the angel now so yeah eva would be the angel (if she is his mom still) and if this is a good game i hope they stick with new dante if its shit i want the franchise to die but i dont want old dante hes story is done and told in my eyes

you misjudged my comment...

A character is important but not in this case, this is a reboot, so they make dante the way they want it to be not needing to follow old one's style. Btw DMC will be a success, dantefans loving it or not.
