Yesterday I did 365 lbs, so today I was just fooling around a little bit. I did a negative with 370 lbs, then I did 2 neg's with 405 lbs. After that, I did a drop set with 315 lbs to see how many I could do. 315 lbs never felt soooo heavy...

  • wow...i wouldn't have tried the 5th rep without a spotter!!! :O :O nice strength man. currently i'm benching 160 lbs x 6 reps (and i'm 16 :P)...and my bodyweight is like 158 lbs so it isn't that bad.

    I hit 3 plates for 10 reps back in Nov, which was a huge goal for me. No it's onward and upward....

    All the tricks that I have learned over the last year and a half are documented in these videos on my channel. I don't use supplements or anything else. Although, I just added protein shakes about two months ago and it seems to help well with recovery.

  • Thanks for the inspiring video. I started weightlifting a year ago and added 100 lbs to my bench so I can bench 195 10 times. A year from now, I hope to be were you are at, benching 315 for 5 reps. Man, your video rocks and you are amazingly strong.

  • A false grip is not any more dangerous than a regular grip bro. I have seen the bar slip on both grips. As long as you are lifting within your means and under control you are fine. I have used this grip for over 20 years without ever having a problem...
